Commitments Payment Protection Policies offer a choice of cover to protect monthly mortgage repayment, loan repayment or rent, plus up to 100% of other regular monthly commitments.

• Carer cover
• Hospitalisation benefit
• Optional 12 or 24 months benefit periods
• 30 day waiting period, benefit payable back to Day One

The Beta Payment Protection Policy is for Mortgage, Rental or Payment Protection Insurance and Delta is for Income Protection. Beta will cover your monthly mortgage rent or loan and other commitments in the event of a claim i.e. for unemployment cover it will pay a benefit per month that covers your mortgage, rent or loans plus other commitments if you become unemployed. The Delta Income protection will cover your income in the event of you becoming unable to work due to accident sickness and unemployment but is not available for unemployment only.

Beta Payment Protection Policy

A monthly paid Protection Policy which offers a choice of cover to protect mortgage repayments, or loans or rent, plus up to an additional 100% of other regular monthly commitments if required:

• Accident, Sickness and Unemployment, or Accident and Sickness Only, or Unemployment Only
• Cover available up to maximum of £2500 per month (£1500 for Unemployment Only)
• Can be used to cover rental payments
• Can be used to cover school fees
• Cover in the event of becoming a registered carer
• No initial unemployment exclusion if cover is in respect of a new mortgage or remortgage (otherwise 90 days)
• Cover is not restricted to a percentage of your income
• 12 or 24 months benefit periods
• Benefit payable back to day one
• Benefit if hospitalised for 7 days or more
• No initial unemployment exclusion for new mortgages

Delta Income Protection

A monthly paid Income Protection policy providing:

• Accident, Sickness and Unemployment or Accident and Sickness Only cover
• Cover for 65% of Income up to £1500 maximum
• Cover in the event of becoming a registered carer
• Benefit if hospitalised for 7 days or more
• Offers cover for combined Accident & Sickness only
• Can provide a maximum of £2500 per month benefit
• You do not have to have a mortgage or rental agreement to qualify for this cover
• Only 90 days initial unemployment exclusion

Many policies of this nature have an unemployment exclusion period at the start of the policy so they will not pay monthly benefit for unemployment before this exclusion period has passed. For the Beta Payment Protection Policy Commitments will waive this unemployment exclusion period if you have an existing mortgage or a remortgage.
